When I try to play some games, I get a little pop-up that says adobe wants to store info on my computer. I hit the ? it says any kind of info can be stored and the asking website should tell me what kind. It doesn't.
I'm assuming, since it only pops up when I try to start a game, it just wants to store previous scores but assuming isn't the same as knowing.
Should I let it? Or just keep clicking no? (Shockwave games it that makes a difference)
It isn't terribly bad, but in many cases is not needed. With some games, the local storage can speed up play - especially with less able computers. Local storage has been around for a while. In an age where most people have a dozen programs and an operating system set for automatic updates, which downloads and stores stuff that can change the functionality of the computer, worrying about a game storing a few screens and scores is pissing in the flood.
I always click NO if it comes up........... (Actually I have 'USERDATA PERSISTANCE' disabled so most of that stuff doesnt work anyway)
