I'm looking for a free search-able web page, from a template.
I have a retirement small business idea that might help people but isn't likely to be very profitable. I need a do-it-myself starter web page that anyone could find easily by searching the address. I don't need sophisticated graphics but do need to be able to upload a few standard jpg photos from my digital camera and receive/send emails.
A blog might suit my purposes but the free ones I've seen individual people using for their political views and travels either aren't photo friendly or are hard to find. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
I found this by searching Google for web page template. You could add the word free to narrow it down further.
Depending on who you use for your Internet Service Provider you might have web space available through them. Normally it's 5 or 10MB, but that should be sufficient for your needs.
As for the search: You can sign up at Google for free and your business will show up in their searches. If you've ever used the find a business in Google Maps you'll see the result. I have my business listed there, but since it's out of my house I don't list the house address for Google, I use my PO Box and the intersection of the building it's in. Unless you want to drive business to a location this is a good idea.
I'll hunt for the page where you sign up. Found it. Top right of this page:
