Isn't city-data considered a "social networking" site?
"Social" being the operative term, more so than the modifier.
Particularly since FB has become primarily an advertising and data mining site, the social aspects and information sharing of CD make it a better venue than the overall FB experience.
I do not use any social media sites. I can see no advantages as long as I am employed. The web is full of stories of people who have gotten into trouble with their jobs because of something they posted.
As I said two minutes ago in another post: If you have nothing nice to say on Social Media, say Nothing. Follow that ONE rule and you will never get in trouble from your job, I promise you.
