A large chunk of your cable bill is because of "Sports". Blame ESPN and MLB. Seriously.

You're right about that. ESPN charges three times as much as any other station. Cable companies pay $45 per subscriber for all the stations together.

Not to mention DISNEY owns ESPN.
So Disney tells the cable company "well, if you want Disney, you HAVE to take ESPN, too..."
