Good news for obsessed with Facebook!!
Facebook is giving new option of choosing someone to maintain their profile after they die.
Makes me wonder what they will post in the deceased timeline
Attempting to edit out and change the history of a person by censoring out the unpleasant parts in favor of the nice parts is insulting to that person. Not only has the person died physically, you've now killed them spiritually and replaced them with a strange doppelganger. It's good that this system won't allow the caretaker to edit the life of the person.

What I have done is made available to certain people an encrypted file. Only a close and very trusted relative knows what the password is. If something happens to me they only need to ask for the file. That file contains the information they need and the passwords for accessing my computers, main password files etc.

I've already modified my Facebook for after leaving the physical foot hold of life on earth. My page shows that I do and always will live in Amsterdam where I'll remain high on life in perpetuity by the graciousness of Facebook.

Kick back, relax, look me up...

Facebook won't be around in five or ten years. It will probably become a virtual graveyard like MySpace

Do they not realize that dead people still vote in some numbers? Facebook just wants to get free advertising on most haunted or one of those ghost shows clearly.

Sorry. Don't need any internet ghost of me hanging around expecting some kind of online tribute. Once you're gone it's over, as irrelevant as yesterday's news.

I would tend to agree, my concern is making sure someone has easy access to important things.
