I installed Chrome and their extension Speed Dial 2 to work computer, to coordinate bookmarks and links I use at home and work. All works perfect except I cannot log out Chrome at work.
While my access to work computer is password protected, I would like additional log out of my private stuff.
Is there any option?
If I can't log off Chrome, is there a way to log off Speed Dial 2?

Hamburger menu > Settings > Under "Sign In," click "Disconnect your Google Account."

The steps after that will probably be self-explanatory.

Disconnecting from Google account does not disconnect you from Chrome. I heard that "Sign out" will delete my synced account ( don't want to try it for obvious reason). Probably log off windows will be the best choice.

Hamburger menu. Ha! Never heard it called that.

But he's right, Elnina.

Hamburger Menu > Settings > the first button there should be either SIGN IN or OUT of CHROME. THis does not delete anything. THis is so you can share a computer with someone and have your own Google/Chrome login.

Also, sharing stuff between browser sessions at home, work, mobile is a feature BUILT IN to Chrome. Why would you install an extension for that???

When I shut down my Windows computer without closing Chrome first, cookies don't get deleted despite my having chosen the option to delete all cookies upon closing Chrome. Is that a bug? I mean, one might assume that shutting down the entire computer automatically closes Chrome as well.
If someone with bad intentions started my computer they could enter my accounts just like that because I did not get logged out of accounts which are based on cookies. For instance they could write silly posts here using my CD ID ^^

Well, if the shutdown process ends up preemptively terminating Chrome (and not simply asking it to engage its normal shutdown sequence), then I can see where Chrome might not do its normal cleanup.

Isnt Chrome IE based??

I would think just CLOSING THE BROWSER AND THEN DELETING ALL COOKIES/TEMP FILES WOULD WORK to clear everything....
