Your home internet provider has a daily data limit? That seems ridiculous, people stream video all day on smart TVs, laptops and other devices and never have an issue with data limits. Are you using the phone as a wireless hotspot for the laptop?

I don't have a daily limit, but logically try to monitor my usage as to not go over 200MB a day average. I do have a usage meter but the 4G download speed is so fast that I can't find and stop top BS before it uses all the data for the day. For example, while reading the first three replies to this post something ate all all 200MB. I really HAVE to stop this.
Just talked to Verizon, seems they are getting tons of complaints about McAfee on new computers doing daily updates sometimes as big as 500MB. Sadly there is now way to stop itwithout putting the computer at risk.

Try switching to Avast. You can do the updates only when you want to.
