Have been trying to delete my account for last few days.
Unable to do so.....will not accept my password which I entered correctly
Will not accept the special codes it is telling me to use
audio or video
After numerous attempts I get kicked out.
I cannot wait to get away from them
Anybody else experiencing same problem ?
I finally was able to close it.....after 13 attempts.
Received an email from Yahoo advising me that the account has been deactivated/closed.
BUT to my dismay it states that it will take at least 90 days or more for that process, to protect me from fraud... WHAT ?.
So, basically it has NOT been deactivated/closed....and is open for business.
Is this crazy or what?
I had a theft issue and all my accounts were hacked. That means I have no access to my recovery e-mails. My phone was also hacked. I was a victim, but I am me..
I was able to get my main e-mail account closed. I had no access to it, but I talked to someone who deleted it.
That was Yahoo. They were the only ones who were helpful in an emergency. They didn't help me with Flickr, and that is a big problem for me.
My problem lies with every other service, even paid services....
Flickr is a yahoo company. They won't help me get my account back, even though it is a paid account, that might might have auto renew on it, so they might continue to bill me, but not let me in.
G-mail won't help me...
Google Play is something that I have purchased on. I bought stuff that should belong to me. They won't help me get it back.
Evernote charged me on auto-renew every year. They wouldn't help me get my account back. They were willing to charge me. If my payment information is attached to the account, why won't they let me have it back? I was able to close my paypal account and that is how they were getting paid, so they won't get their payday. The refused to help.
Paypal was able to verify my identity. Why can they do it and others can't? Even when money has changed hands?
Free accounts are one thing, but when you make purchases or subscribe, then you should get a little help.
There are ways to verify identity. It isn't so hard to prove that I am me. Nobody else is me, but me.
