Why don't you start by answering the question yourself?

I think everyone has googled himself. Me, I make a point of having a very low online profile, so there isn't much. A few things startled me, though, like property listings. I also discovered my name is listed in a museum archive, as someone who donated his papers was an occasional correspondent of mine. So I'm in a museum!

Yes when I got drunk and posted something I didn't want on public view took me ages to get rid of it

This. Some things are meant for the privacy of one's home.

Since I am home, I googled:

My Linked In (which I never use) comes up.
My Twitter comes up (I follow people, but I never tweet).

A Facebook account for someone with my name comes up (I do not have Facebook).

An obituary comes up (I think I am still alive, last time I checked).

Lots of images come up, but none are actually me (one is a wildlife photo I use for Twitter).

When I try to go into Gmail, I google myself and then an icon appears and thus I can go into my profile and gmail.

No, C-D forum posters do it for me, and post the results. Wikipedia disambiguation turns up 27 other people with my name who have Wikipedia articles about them.

Yes i have tried and luckily not much comes up. I try to keep my REAL ID private and not exposed to the internet if I can..... (Google,etc)
