This started about two or three days ago.

When I want to rep a poster and leave a message or my name, all that comes up is "REPUTATION" and underneath that, "Add to Reputation:" (or something similar).

Wondering why that is happening! (I click on the 'scales' icon at the top right.)

Thanks.

I’m so glad you asked! I never knew how to leave a comment with rep before, I was totally mystified.

Yes, that's what I've been doing. Been on C-D since 2006.

That used to work, and now it doesn't.

No. It just happened after I got a 'reprimand' from a moderator (1 point) and I was knocked off for a day.

Should I contact that mod and tell him/her about the problem?

A 1-point infraction should have no effect on your ability to leave a rep comment for someone. Have you rebooted your laptop in the past few days? Perhaps that would fix the glitch.

Thanks, yes, I have. That's the first thing I tried. It's very strange! I'd hate to lose the ability to comment.
