I seem to have different internet speed on my devices. So I performed a test:
both devices are up to date, both have the same battery level (90%), both have no apps running, even on background, both have just about the same memory space, both are cleaned - history, cookies etc. I was trying to make both as similar as possible.
Both are Android. Both checked using the same modem at home and the same speed test website. (AT&T speed test).
Both were placed side by side on the table and checked at the same moment.

One (Google Pixel) showed internet speed near zero - 0.7Mbps downloads, 0.3 Mbps upload.
The other (Samsung 6) was fast 45Mbps downloads, 8Mbps upload.
I pay for 50Mbps speed.

Similar results when I don't check them at the same time, but 5 min apart.

Why is one phone having such slow internet connection while the other is not? This is going on for weeks now.

All is the same outside of your phones but not the same inside the phones. Have your phones tested at a computer shop to see why the processor(s) are running at such different speeds.

Dang.. I am getting a download speed of 46.5 Mbps and 60.2 Mbps upload on my iPad.
And close to the same on my iphone 7+
Sometimes when my stuff slows down I just re-boot my modem and try again.

Oh, yeah. I did the works. No changes.

Except if one phone uses 2.4GHz WiFi and other 5 to connect. Interference in the former could be an issue so I’d make sure both are connecting to the same router on the same frequency.

There could be various things why there is a difference of speed. Like someone mentioned, maybe one is connected to 2.4 and other on 5ghz. It could be different firmwares on the phones. The phone antennas design may differ and one may have more interference than the other. There could be other reasons.

Something sounds wrong with the Pixel to me.
It could be any of these other things, I suppose, but that's such a significant difference I'd suspect the Pixel's Wifi antenna is on its way out.
