Get a new ID (name change, address change, etc), then for the new ID fill the internet with 1/4 truths, 3/4 BS.

No! Hiding information and being a frigging liar (politician) are too different things; in my opinion.

Many people need to hide their identity for specific reasons. And with the right help it can be done. However, if you ever do it, the suggestion is to make sure some info on your new identity is true, but make the majority of it false.

Just like a name change....if possible keep the first name the same for that "just in case" moment. Your walking with friends who know you as Joe, but your name used to be Fred and someone recognizes you and yells Fred and you turn. Your new friends will wonder why.

Now, I will stop here before I go too far.
