Hi everyone, I read a lot this forum, but I don't really like to interact. I also forgot the password and login of the previous account, but never mind.
I am curious to know if there are people here who have their own websites and what you use to protect it. I have a small business and I recently created a site by myself (I am studying IT and trying to develop a site by my own, I find it quite difficult, but also very fascinating and interesting). So what you use to protect you site? How much you spend every year (or month)? Is it that important to protect your site or it's better not to do that in the beginning? Share your experiences please, I will be very interested

Well, if you said that you own a small business and you are creating a site for it, I think it would be a good decision to protect it. If you don't do that, your site can risk being hacked and you can be a victim of information theft, so pay attention. I would recommend to use a ssl cert, for the beginning you can use the easiest one, but as your site will grow you will have to decide if upgrade it or not.
I wish you the best with your site
