Last night I started having an issue on my MacBook where when I went to Facebook, all I would see is a blank white page. I finally gave up and went to bed. This morning, same issue. I went to the iPad, which uses an app for Facebook, and had no problem. I went to Safari on the iPad, and tried going to FB, and had the same issue. I did have to reset the password in Safari, though. I attribute that to the fact I never use Facebook from Safari on the iPad, and the password wasn’t saved.
I have noticed for a long time that content was different on the iPad than what I was seeing on my MacBook. I am not aware of having two different accounts, and when I post anything, the exact same name would be listed.
Has anyone else noticed this issue?
Any suggestions on what to do in Safari to rectify it?
Update. I cleared all my history on Safari on my iPad and went to Facebook, which showed the log in screen. I entered the login information and it immediately went to the same blank white screen. No errors or any other messages.
By the way, I am a conservative. After what has been happening in regard to the NY Post story, it makes me wonder...
Whatever it was started to work again the next night, roughly 24 hours after it started. Must have been Facebook doing it.
