"Wants" and "Needs" are often conflated.
No one "needs" twitter. Millions "want" twitter.

I dont like how Twitter imposes a word limit on each post. That may be fine for a simpleton like Trump, but I often need a little more space to fully explain in a little more detail, and cite my sources.

Of course you don’t need Twitter unless your business involves social media. In that case, Twitter is a very useful platform for promoting one’s product. I myself have an account, but barely use it,focusing more on Instagram.

Ummm, this (the character limit, not word limit) is precisely the point of twitter, or at least was when it was launched.

Not really. I’ve never been in Twitter and it’s one of those things I don’t understand.

Twitter wouldn’t even be in the crosshairs but for its self-imposed desire to censor anything.

No.
Twitter is what I use to complain or praise companies I like. It can be fun. Much like life.... Twitter is what YOU make of it.
