If you were a college or HS student or FB employee, you could have done this, but it wasn't until 9/26/2006 that they allowed anyone with an email address to create an account.

I have some friends that do not have Email, so I have to PM them. But I have FB stripped clean so all I see is the PM window.

I have a Fakebook page, but ignore it. There's something great in letting it languish, maybe only post an insignificant message every five years or so; show visible contempt for it.

I read the 1st and 6th pages, everyone doesn't have Facebook. I enjoy it and go no Facebook every morning and evening. I am in a bunch of different Facebook groups so I get a big variety.

I deleted my Facebook account in January 2021 in response to the rampant censorship (I follow politics). I had previously deleted Twitter off my phone because it seemed to be just a bunch of strangers calling each other Nazi and Commie.

Last night I added Twitter back onto my phone, just to see what was going on. Plenty of jokes flying around about Elon's purchase, but nothing I can't live without. Might delete it again.

No. I don't have a Facebook account. I used to be very active on Twitter but for the past 6 months I only check it @ once per week. That's my only social media ID.

I have a FB account and I enjoy following family, friends and professional colleagues . I like seeing what they are doing . I do get important news about my profession from there. My problem is that the political stuff got so rampant and some were so nasty that I ended up not following some folks as I didn't want to see it and comment on it. I have never been on Twitter or Tiktok or any of the others as I have heard second hand what a sewer it is.

That's how it is here. All businesses are on FB so they don't have to host their own website.

I knew I didn't want it from the get-go. Now, when it's old hat, our condo HOA wants to create a FB page for updates so they don't have to email everyone (big whoop, it's group email). Sigh.

Family knows we're not on it, so they are forced to email which I think is good for them, or they might forget how, lol.
