And Verizon still doesn't have it fixed. Tech guy has spent 9 hours at our house between yesterday and today. We've probably logged at least 16 hours or more on the phone between tech guy and us--calling into Verizon's network technicians. It can't be this complicated!

We've had thousands of people in my area without POWER for 6 days in 15 degree temperatures, just a bit of perspective for you

Yah, my internet went down for 1 whole day this week.. no reason.. (something wrong with a junction box?) but then again I had backup EVDO internet just a pain to plug-in use..

The best thing I ever did was switch from Verizon DSL to cable internet. Nothing is as frustrating as trying to talk to their tech support who don't speak English well and read some lame script. Oh, except for the phone menu to try to get to their sorry excuse for tech support. Every time that annoying voice told me that I could find troubleshooting help at their website and reminded me to reboot my modem and computer, I wanted to scream.

It's been 8 months since I got rid of Verizon and I still get fired up thinking about it.
