You have 9 files waiting in Google Drive (email, click, download)

Is this a hoax or a virus? Just out of the blue, I get this email purportedly from Google, that address me as "Hi", and tells me I have 9 files waiting in Google Drive. I've never heard of Google Drive, and sure as hell have never used it, but there is a button I can click to "see my 9 files waiting in Google Drive".

Anybody else getting this Spam? If I click the button, is it a virus or something?

If you know you don't have whatever it is they mention why would you even need to ask if you should click on the link?

They are moving your files from docs.google.com to google drive

Google themselves warn me that any emails regarding any accounts that do not address me by name or account number should be regarded as suspect and I should never click on anything in such correspondences. And then they send me suspect mails themselves.

If you have never used Google Docs or Google Drive then it's a hoax trying to trick you into downloading viruses.

I use Google Docs, and my email told me that I have 200 files waiting.

I never want to download things like adaware or other things. Maybe they are just telling me they are the good guys. who knows.

I got the email from a friend, opened it and it downloaded, went in and sent an email to all my contacts. I have deleted the Google Drive, but it has messed up all my contacts and I am totally screwed.
