Why waste vertical space with proprietary toolbars when you only use one or two functions? Just drag and drop the (Google) toolbar icon(s) you want on to your navigation bar. Then hide your (Google/Yahoo/etc) toolbar.

I like the Google Pagerank and Google Autofill functions but I don't need the rest of the Google toolbar. So, I just right-click on a toolbar and then click on Customize and move the corresponding icons to my Navigation toolbar as seen below.
