OMG, I'm addicted to Twitter! People keep asking me, what's the big deal? How is it different from Facebook? I have yet to be able to explain this. I mean, twitter is just a different animal. It's more mobile, constant traffic 24/7, a million+ data base of people to meet instantly! It's following people and them following you thru your daily life, moment to moment. It's a totally rush!! Facebook is just subdued in comparison. I mean, I still love facebook, but the activity on there feels turtle pace compared to twitter. And most of facebook's activity is in the evening, when everyone has gotten home. Twitter? SOOOO DIFFERENT... Check it out, I promise you won't be dissapointed! Surgeon generals warning: twitter can be addictive.
I use twitter. The thing is though it can be a lot like trying to listen to a thousand people all talk at the same time, so you have to figure out how best to use it for your needs.
I'm slowly growing addicted to it as well. I don't really follow too many people though. I just have tweetdeck running on my laptop all day long with a few searches on specific topics (mainly Red Sox) and every minute it updates with any tweets that contain "Red Sox" or "redsox". When I see something I want to respond to, I do. Otherwise, I just like seeing what people have to say. Obviously it gets quite active during the games, which is fun. Almost like watching the game with a bunch of friends.
I find facebook too time consuming. I like to keep connected to people I wouldn't normally call or talk to on a daily basis due to distance or schedules, but I don't have time to constantly chat or otherwise interact with hundreds of people a day.
I heard a talk show host on the radio the other day talking about getting on Twitter. He claimed he was "twatting to a bunch of twits". Didn't sound too appeatizing to me. How accurate was he?
No dont twitter or facebook. For example, Why would I care about someone I spoke to 15 years ago that now lives across the country.? do I really care that the person updated his twitter and said "I'm heading to see a movie be back at 10pm". What are we going to do hang out? I'd rather spend time with the family and friend locally then worry about what others are doing.

Sooo not true. you find what you look for. there are some strange people, but so many that are awesome! It's totally worth it.
I'm on twitter. I like to read what other people are saying, but I don't tweet half as much as most of the others.
