Starting yesterday, I've been having trouble on Facebook:
I have a lot of trouble accessing my Notifications.
I can only comment on some posts in my favorite Facebook Groups; and I can't comment at all on friends' posts. I can post on my own timeline; but I can't comment on my own posts, or edit them.
I finally managed to send a Facebook message after hours of not being able to do so.
I see the comment field, but when I try to type, nothing appears.
I'm using my (new, bought a few months ago) MacBook Pro, with a new operating system (?Mojave) that automatically installed a few days ago.
I use Google Chrome almost 100% of the time.
I have never had problems commenting on anything on Facebook before.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? I've Googled and have not yet found any helpful information. I spend a lot of time on Facebook; and use the Message system to communicate with at least two of my friends. This is very annoying!
Did you try FB on another platform? Like your phone or another computer?
I had some problems with FB too. For a few hours I had an incoming Message that I couldn't answer, and I have a PC with Firefox. I tried with my Android Samsung and had the same problems, so I was pretty sure it was them and not me.
I gave it a couple of hours and everything worked OK again. I assume they had some problems with their servers or such.
