(not a "bad" thing necessarily, but pretty sloppy for a company that builds websites)
I wouldn't touch these guys with a ten foot pole. If they're not a scam, they're worthless anyway. Personally, I think the OP and the one or two posts that followed with links back to the website were themselves spam, trying to take advantage of C-Ds high pagerank on the backlinks.
From the general "feel" of this thread I think it backfired, if true.
I was one of the unlucky ones who is a client of Advanced Internet Advisors. I originally thought they were from Colorado Springs, but their phone # starts with 602. If you google search, you will find an office in Phoenix but they do not list a phone. Their support e-mail was made by their personnel in Phoenix.
They are good sales persons and put together a site that utilizes Amazon. Thus when you open up the site, it is really the Amazon Store.
The big part of the original investment, was continual marketing of the site. That lasted the first two months. They told us the big push would be before and during the Holidays. That did not happen and the only sales and hits were made by my wife and I. I would rate them High on the Professional Scammers
I signed up in November 2009. This company is a big time "fraud". I wish I had read the above information it would have saved me $270.00.
I became supsect when the "coach" called and started pressuring me into paying for
"advertising advise." I stated, I planned on doing my own advertising and he acted as though the he was offended.
The next day I sent a certified letter of cancellation (within the 30 day window) and received a return receipt. I then began the grueling process of charging back the amount with my credit card company, with negative results.
The company stated they provided a service,my Credit Union (Texastelcom.org) refuses to stand by me. I explained that the website that they so-called built for me was copyrighted in 2007.
It was any ugly experience! Please do not fall victom to this "SCAM". Use your cash for
food.
I agree with 40268046. I tried to cancel within the time specified. The company became rude with me and got the site up on the LAST DAY allowable. Everything else posted is also true in one form or another. I received and email from their "customer service dept." claiming "You cannot please everyone". Seems to be a favorite quote they teach when backed into a corner. I was heartbroken because I took money out of my husband and I's funds with a promise I would pay it back and now I am stuck. Caused A Lot of problems between he and I because of my trust in this company. My advice... RUN IF YOU DO NOT HAVE MONEY TO BURN!
James Taylor (If there is such a person), Gina, Ryan Parker, Paul Goodman, Bob Green (all other employees who know what this company is doing)
Just thought you guys should know I have contacted the AG for Arizona as well as the Online BBB concerning your company. I have sent you a link if you are interested. To bad for me that the information posted in this link was not available to me until I had already paid you money I could not afford. I do have proof where I asked for a FULL REFUND during the time allowed under your terms. Please share with all including "Mr. Geen" who had a part in taking advantage. You should all be ashamed.

Time to dump them and find a group that cares about it's clientele. They don't sound any better than Advanced Internet Advisors.
And I am confused. There is no Texastelcom.org. I tried this address in my browser and got nothing...
Since this scumbag company keeps popping up in the forum I'd like to ask those who have dealt with them how they heard about them, and if I may, what state you are in.
This group claims "We are not the Better Business Bureau. We're better!" Then proceeds to give AIA a glowing review. Makes me wonder if AIA owns this company.
One thing is for sure I wouldn't trust a single review by them if they think AIA is a good place to do business.
Perhaps those who have been ripped off by AIA should go to that link and file a complaint just to see what response you get...
Tek=Frek... Texas is the state I am in. Also, I got a call from one of the few that have tried to use my website that was guaranteed for 1 year "Free Hosting". Website is no longer available. Go figure... Guess they got a little miffed at my persistence. They to date have not refunded my money either...
