Since I have updated this rubbish, it keeps saying "Firefox has crashed". This is happening all-to-often having updated it, and it isn't good enough. This is happening every few minutes.

I am seriously thinking about going back to IE as this crap has got less stable, slower and bloated with every update.

Completely uninstall FF and start over. If you keep having problems with each update perhaps the problem has been there all along and you just keep dragging it along.

Or go back to IE.

Mine freezes at Yahoo, when I click the mail link. Also, in the Yahoo financial boards, I can't post. This is a recent development. Error message is: DB Error: connect failed

The problem is not specific to FF. I get the same problem running Opera.

Here is their reply:

Even on a good day, Firefox is pokey for me. I don't seem to have any problems with Chrome though.

If the only site that causes the crash is Yahoo, then it's unlikely FF is the problem. Yahoo is. Or an add on to FF is. What add ons, etc do you have in FF?

BBCode, DictionarySearch, Flashgot, Java Quick Starter, KeyScrambler, WebMailCompose

I have more, but they aren't working due to the FF upgrade.

lol - I use FF, and use it hard... I've anywhere from 20-80 tabs in up to three different browsers , and rarely does it crash - maybe after 20 days of continuous use. BTW, I just updated to the 3.5.2 version this week, and still have not had any issues. Running this on both an Apple MacBook w/ Tiger 10.4 [home] and a Dell Latitude w/ Windows XP SP2 [work].

RichardW - since starting this thread, you've not replied as to what FF version, what OS, etc. that you are using, or what you were doing when the browser crashed. Would be helpful to know this,,, otherwise, some would think that by just posting such a complaint that it could appear that you were just wanting to state potential biased negative statements about FF.
