I have been using the Internet Explorer web browser for many years, and nothing else. Friends of mine are always telling me to upgrade to the new Google Chrome web browser. But I am kind of hesitate since I have been using IE for so many years with minimum prolems.
Good I am proud of you, dont let others tell you alot of BS and get you away from what you love....
NOTHING WRONG WITH IE... I run IE6 and i love it (Well I use MyIE2 which has more features than IE6 does (MyIE2 is an IE wrapper (The BEST one i have ever found)))
I have been using Firefox for years. I like that it is cross platform compatible and I can sync my bookmarks and history across multiple devices and platforms and it also has an incredible amount of customization possible through addons. I sync it across my desktop and laptops on both Windows and Ubuntu and also my Android phone so no matter what device or OS I am on, everything is there. On occasion I run into a rendering issue on a website with Firefox and I have to open it in IE but that doesn't happen very often. It is mostly with government sites as they are rarely developed very well.
I recently started playing around with Chrome and have installed it in both Windows and Ubuntu and actually like it pretty well so far but for now Firefox will remain my primary browser.
One note about IE, it is actually integrated into the windows OS and it is always running and being used whether you are browsing the web or not. Parts of it are used for navigating through file directories and doing searches. If you were to delete IE, it would cause a whole host of issues in windows.
