I am trying to find a good wireless network card for a desktop pc.I'm tired of running the cable from my network in my den to one of my bedrooms where the desktop is located. I used to have an Orinco PCI wireless card, but it doesn't seem to work well consistently. Is there a good USB type combo(A/B/G) card out and easily configurable? Thanks.

Linksys is pretty much the user-grade go-to brand. Don't get the cheapest one. Depending on how far away you are from your router, and how many walls/obstructions the signal must go through, you may want to consider an adapter that has external antenna.

This one runs on Standards IEEE 802.11b/g and works very well for me! It was fairly inexpensive.
