I love my Kindle! It is much easier than trying to carry around a bunch of books all over creation. We were in French Polynesia for a couple weeks and I probably read 7 books on it. If I didn't have my Kindle that would have been a lot more stuff to carry around.
I would like to point out something wrong in the article. The author said when the Kindle is off it displays pictures of famous writers. This is not correct. When the Kindle is off, the screen is blank. When it is in Sleep it displays pictures of the authors.
You spent time in French Polynesia and read books?
Umm, there is only so much time you can spend in the water before you become a shriveled up prune. At night, of course, there was other stuff to do in the room.
