I use sharebuilder and it sucks. I tire of their $10 fee. I have looked over TradeKing, $5 is reasonable. Then, I don't really know how but I came across optionshouse, $3 fee and they have a promo for 100 free trades though I've never heard of them.

Which do you use and why?

I use sharebuilder as well. I dont do many trades, the only reason why I use them is because I have cash in ING and when I want to make a trade I want to do it now. I just like having my money getting the measly 1% interest rate while its sitting there. I would love to change but dont know of any other sites that you can collect a decent amount of interest while you have money with them. Also I am to lazy to search

I use Interactive Brokers...cheap and allows you to easily trade currencies, bonds, options, etc., and the commissions are very low...and it has a really good execution platform.
