I bought some stock in a solar power company. I was researching and researching, and finally I pulled the trigger. I would have made a little bit more profit if I pulled the trigger without doing so much research.

about a week later, News comes and they are getting bought out a 40% increase in share price.

Looks like your research paid off.

Bought some YRCW back in November around $7 per share. It sat right around there for 6 months until a couple of weeks ago when it shot up to $11 in one day. Checked a couple of days later and it was $15 and I got out, currently trading around $22

I bought some Bonanza Creek stock about a year ago at $14 a share and it wallowed up and down for about 8 months not really doing anything spectacular, so I sort of forgot about it. Then suddenly, a few weeks ago I took another look at it and realized that it's climb had just kept on going. When it reached $38 a share, my husband and I both blinked and sold the rest.

I feel good about that!

I missed the run in JAZZ. I was following that stock from $.60 a share until today, now it's trading at $60-ish. First 100 bagger I've ever seen unfold right before my own eyes.

I had 5,000 shares of Clearwire when CNBC announced that Sprint was buying out Clearwire (last year- NOT the recent announcement). CLWR popped on the news in the morning. Incredible morning! I ended up selling half of my position that day and used the gains to add to another position and cashed out the remaining small balance for some spending cash.

-Cheers!

HGSI, from .45 to 34 within months.
ARNA from 2 to 11 within weeks.

Have 40K shares of MNKD that has moved in spurts. Twice in the past couple months, I woke up and price was up nearly one dollar. Nice way to start a day, 40K richer.

On the other hand, woke up one morning and SPPI had dropped from 12 to 8. 35K poorer.
