Most of the literature will say that very small stock offerings (under $50K) for an existing company should be avoided for all of the obvious reasons. However, my research indicates that as long as the stock is offered as a intrastate offering, many of the hurdles are minimized.
Does anyone have any experience regarding this option versus increasing debt to finance equipment for expansion?
