I messed up on this question: what I was wondering with the correction would now be the time to convert to a roth.

Well the conversion would certainly cost you less in taxes since the value of the funds are down, but there are too many complicating factors to make this a yes or no question. There are a lot of good internet articles on the pros and cons depending on your income now and in the future.
