You have to have at least $20K in each stock so I made them all 20K. If you want a different arrangement, let me know. In at yesterday mornings price with 100K.
In with the morning price since you beat the market open.
So far all stocks have been based on closing price. That doesn't seem right to change the rules now.
Are all stocks from the beginning going to be changed to opening prices instead of the previous closing prices?
I think the rules should not be changed, and that all stocks should have exactly the same rules and criteria as the others.

The future buy allows for elimination of overnight activity, I think it's a good move. Plus, the history of the game has never been decided from an on the open vs on the close delta....so I think we're all good.

Since the market hadn't opened the "morning price" IS the the closing price. I ignore after hours activity.
Yes, but you are going to be in a slightly different situation. We all started with 100K. Anyone who joins after the start of the year when the market has advanced can join but start with 100K when the average is now above 100k. so slightly at a disadvantage.
You are joining when the S&P has gone down. $100,000 in the S&P to start the year is only worth $98,528.59 now. So instead of starting with $100,000 you will start with $98,528.59. That's always been the rule, but the markets have done so well in recent years I don't recall ever having this come into play before.
Edit - You're in. Those are some "swing from the heels choices"
