For $200 a month you should use a no load mutual fund. That way you pay no upfront commission.

I like ETrade. They have a larger selection of bonds and have FOREX.

Default E Trade

I supose if I ever get back in the game, it will be Etrade again.I know the way the work, and that part I would change. Once you are labeled , they will not let you convert the way you trade, with out a separate account...there goes another 10'000 again ! I could never understand why I could buy a stock, and hold it with out the fear of margin calls.
I really like commodities , physical PMs was always safe, buy or sell whenever you want to. The gold I hand,that I bought 30 years ago,really paid off!......now I wish I had stayed pat a little longer than 2010.
