I'll be moving to Iowa City this Fall. What's the best internet service provider in town? And what's the best cable company?

What a good question...that is what I am trying to find out myself and I have been here for 5 years. The cable company (Mediacom) offers the best bargain if you choose to receive telephone, cable, and high speed internet from them. I believe it is $29.99 for each service. I had difficulties with my internet and phone not working quite a bit so I changed over to Quest when I moved. Their package includes phone, high speed internet (not as good as Mediacom assuming it is working) and you get stuck with Direct TV and it is still as bad as when it first came out (all it has to do is sprinkle or look like it is going to rain and you lose the signal).
That is the extent of my knowledge and experience. Hopefully someone else will add to this so we can both make an informed decision.

I have been here in Iowa City for last two months. I cannot believe they do not have a good ISP with so many thousands of student living here.
