I have a daughter still in Iowa..,, due to lack of funding..I travel back and forth from colorado every six to eight weeks..its getting old .I will be joining her this summer..but she lives in a group home...and she is non verbal..looking for a gal who wants to take her to events...for drives...for coffee..she loves music..and needs a good friend..and I need someone to be her voice and ears...she lives with 7 others..and is 24...dont reply to me unless you are serious and have excellent credentials.. I am looking to make a group farm for gals with disabilites..it will include gardens..animals...and lots of fresh air..along with a profitable garden and floral...coffee and resale store...looking for like minded individuals to make it happen...

You might call the special ed department at University of Iowa and have them post an ad for a companion for your daughter. I'm seen similar ads here at Ohio State.

Another suggestion: if you are a church member, you might do the same, although I think I'd rather have an aspiring special ed teacher escorting my daughter around if that were the case.
