Located in Coralville, there is a very nice 2,000 sq. ft. HO model railroad layout worth visiting. I shot some video of it last weekend.

Surprised that one is actually open, as Trainland USA in Colfax (which is a bit more renowned) is closed due to the Covid.

The layout isn't open to the public right now. They opened up special for me to shoot the video. It was two hours and then closed down again.

Wonderful layout! I can't resist model trains and other miniatures. Thanks for sharing this!

Stunningly good! and realistic scale speed instead of all to often way too fast running that would be like 200 mph in real life.
I always liked the scale buildings, I have a couple of O scale buildings I bought a number of years ago, and a few Z and N scale cars and locos, but never did a layout.

Don't you know about high-speed rail?

But really, that layout does look great...

This caught my eye as I was browsing, I haven't had time to view the whole video yet but that house with the multiple floors is awesome, especially the basement with its own model layout!
