Just wondering if this is testing going on or if I should be outside looking for a tornado?

Can't guarantee there's not a tornado (and if there is, don't go outside and look for it! lol) but this website - Fire Department - Weather Alert System - says they test the weather sirens at 9AM on the first Monday of the month. I think that's today.

Stay safe! There's a chance of severe weather and isolated tornadoes tonight!

If it's a totally clear day and you notice it going off, it's probably a test. They do test them occasionally.

Yeah, I noticed that this morning too. It had me going for a while, until I remembered it was the first of the month. Usually they postpone it if there's a chance people will confuse it for the real deal...but I guess they went ahead and did it anyway this time.
