I agree. The Heinz Road area is part of the Saddlebrook complex which is a nice area. It is probably the only exception to the south of hwy 6 rule. Unfortunately it is close (but not connected) to the less desirable neighborhoods.

If you stay on the highway and go to the saddlebrook area past the lake side area it is a very nice place to live no problems there

Disappointing though.

I was looking to pay between 700 & 850 max. Being from Texas I am holding out for a place with a garage and w/d in the residence.

What are some of the newer places on Scott Blvd? I am going to be working for ACT with is just of I80 and Dodge St.

I am also looking at some place in coralville north of I-80 off Holiday and lynncrest. Any thoughts on this area?

Well I have been at the Saddlebrook Condos for about a month now and so far am very happy!

I have started to notice a few more college age folks moving into the apartments across the street, but so far no related problems (i.e. noise in the middle of the night and what not).

It is super convenient for me too. I make it to work in 10-13 minutes unless i get stuck behind a slow driver. Only downside is the coffee shop i like is in coralville, but honestly it takes no time to get anywhere in this city.

Hope this helps anyone who comes across this post in the future.
