We're moving into Davenport see that there are two major health systems in the area: Genesis and Trinity. The wife is pregnant and I have some issues, so we were wondering which system provides better care in general. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Good morning. A year ago I came home to the QCA and had spinal surgery at Genesis west and it went very well, everyone was very nice. A+ experience. My sister in-law has had both their kids at Genesis, always seemed like everything went well.

My cousin had her baby at Trinity, it was an ultra modern room she stayed in. It looked like a fancy shmancy hotel room with it's dark colors and flat screen tv.

So I guess I really haven't told you much except both are good places to be. Genesis seems to be more...um..I don't know, it has walk in clinics and there are Genesis this and Genesis that places around..They have a much larger presence than Trinity.

Congratulations to both of you! I think either hospital would be fine! If your wife is seeking a midwife, many of them work through one hospital or the other, so she may want to seek out the midwife first. Genesis does seem to have far more doctor clinics around the area & their convenient care is great for when you can't get in to see your doctor the same day. We haven't had an issue with them and the people who I know who have had babies ... well, at either place, haven't had complaints.
