Hi! Thanks for reading my post!

I am looking for a place to rent where I can keep a horse or two on any side of the Quad Cities, IA or IL - does not matter.

The home does not need to be large, there will only be 2 people living there. What I am most interested in is being able to keep a horse on the property. I do not need a lot of property, an acre or less is fine, I just want to keep my horse with me.

I am not from around here, I actually moved here from Texas for college. I have always lived in the country, and now I live south of Locust st and I'm going nuts here. I can't breathe in this city, I need out.

So what I was hoping I could get here were some tips about where to look for these type of listings. From what I understand it is a bit rare to find, but I have seen it and talked to a few folks who know it's out there. I've seen a few on craigslist in the past few months, but not recently, and I'm hoping to move the end of this month/early next month. I've tried looking up the classifieds in the local paper and surrounding small city papers but the only other paper besides the QCTimes is the North Scott Press. Is this all? I've heard of people using real estate agents for this, anyone know about that?

Thanks!

There is the Rock Island Argus newspaper. As far as rentals go on he Iowa side, if you go west on Locust I sometimes see for rent signs on Wisconsin and Utah rd's. Go further out to the town of Blue Grass and I'm sure there has to be a couple of farmhouses for rent.
