Yes, the Flint Hills are easily accesible via I-70. The Smoky Hills, Chautauqua Hills, and Red Hills are in more isolated areas and somewhat harder to visit.

Yes, it reminds me of New Mexico. However, I dispise dry areas. Kansas is generally way too semi-arid for my liking.
