I am a former NE Iowa resident contemplating on returning to Iowa just in time for the change of seasons. I have been to New Hampton several times and have liked it but wanting some input on schools, jobs, people. Hard to tell about a place when you only spend a couple of hours. I am 43 single parent of a 3 yr old, educated and looking for a wholesome, friendly community to raise my son. I have 2 older children that live within an hour's drive of New Hampton that are on their own doing their own thing. I would appreciate any and all input. I am aware it is about 3,500 people and I am ok with that just wanting some feedback from hopefully current residents in my age range(older but not dead lol)
