Mitchell County Court house is new but looks pretty close to the original. I think the old one was the longest serving CH in the State until they tore it down...I recall a bit of controversy regarding the destruction/construction.

The Boone County courthouse just celebrated its 100th anniversary. It's not a particularly "cool" building to look at (no domes, spires, etc. - just a big concrete rectangle) but it does have some history.
