I am going to be staying in downtown Dubuque for 4 nights. Can anyone who is familiar describe the area around 2nd and Main? Is there much that is walkable in terms of shops and restaurants?

Also, I would really appreciate recommendations for nice restaurants either downtown or nearby (gotta figure out where to eat 4 nights).

thanks

The Bank is probably my favorite restaurant in Dubuque. An old bank building refurbed. Great food and live music one some nights.
