I would focus on the West Burlington area. The school system is better for when your daughter starts.

It seems the people there are jealous of new people that comes into Burlington. When you have others come into town to work the guys there feel they can bully them away and the community rally around knowing that they have thugs and wanna be gangsters living in their city. When you have new faces that comes into your city you don't bully or threatens them because you jealous or because they seem more working material then you people there. It's sad when the community allows the thugs there to bully In coming people who's there to work not be a wanna be gangsters. You people need to train those you thugs that they can't mess up peoples lives who trying to make a living.

This thread is hilarious. I would avoid Iowa. No reason to move to a small city and be isolated.

Isolation is something people create for themselves. I've lived in Iowa since 2006 in four different communities with populations of 300, 2800, 40, and 1000 respectively and have never felt isolated.

Thank God we all have different tastes. The reflexive thought process of one-size-fits-all just doesn't cut it. Not everyone fits the prescription seemingly always proffered that urban living, usually in a western state, is the answer to everyone's needs & the recipe for nirvana.

Hi! My name is Tiffany And I am currently looking to move to the Fort Madison, Burlington, Keokuk area. Any information you could give me would be helpful. Best places to go to look for jobs? I have a bachelors degree in Human and social services Administration.
Thanks in advance,
Tiffany Armstrong
