Actually, the nominees won't be fully decided until the national conventions, when the party nominates them. This happens after all of the state level primaries, caucuses, and conventions. Your vote counts in TX on Mar. 4 as much as mine will in IA on Jan. 3.

That really is a fantastic article. I'd encourage everyone to read it, if you get a chance!

I'd imagine some on this forum have framed that article.

the author probably thought it was funny to see "East Village". he was probably slightly amused by it.

Whats so special about Iowa..? I'll tell you..first off it is the back bone of America..
Basically agricultural..Supply food to the nation..Mostly decent hard working people, with values and morals..in a world that has forgotten what that is..Also lots of people play
music and socialize with one another more..Those long hard winters would be tough
without friends..lol. You can generally trust an Iowan to mean what they say and say what they mean. And I dont think anyone has more fun than they do...They are not really simple folks ..they just know how to enjoy life....And not to mention the food there is devine..steaks... sweet corn, fresh strawberrys..Oh yeah and good fising too..Ok I will stop now ..I sound like a travel brochure..lol..I do love Iowa.
Oh, I forgot the cute scandanavian descent men..lol.

Laura your post made me laugh, but I think the OP is asking about the policital process of nominating presidental candidates...and I definately don't think that TXSchoolBoy or whatever his name was is looking for the scandy men!
