I was born and raised in Tennessee, finished college and I've been working this job outside of Seattle for the past 10 months. I miss my family so in two weeks I am driving back home to start a new job. Does anybody have ideas about fun things to do on the way? I'm up for anything. Also if any church groups wouldn't mind I would really appreciate a place to stay for a night. I don't have any kind of a time table so if you need help with chores or whatever I could definitely help out.

I'm guessing your getting on I-29 in Sioux Falls and taking it to connect with I-70 in K.C. Probably main thing worth stopping it, is to hop over the river and go to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. Now if you are interested in casino gambling there are three in Council Bluffs and other along the corridor. If you are looking for a little break, you can find some scenic areas in the Loess Hills, just east of I-29.
