Pella, IA (AHN) - A couple in Iowa are $100,000 richer after a mysterious man gave them a blank check in a café, telling them to write any amount they like.

The couple, Alissa and Barry, said the man approached them at Dr. Salami's Cafe in Pella, Iowa and asked them if they had kids.

Any amount they like and they chose 100,000? I could think of a few better numbers than that. ... oh and not sure how this is "good news" but I guess that works for me.

They are lucky people, if they put that money in a college fund, at least a goodly chunk of the cost of their childs education will be taken care of. That man is very generous.
