I'm moving to Grinnell to work at the college for a year. The only things I have to set up in the house are electricity (Alliant) and then the internet. I'm moving from NY, and I've been on the basic 15 kbps plan with Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable) which has served all my needs, never had a problem.

Given the area, how reliable is the internet service? The little research I've done suggests either Mediacom or Windstream would be best, but I've noticed that Mediacom has a cap on monthly usage?? That would cause me some anxiety, but the performance of Windstream from what I can tell seems somewhat area dependent. Just trying to get a basic idea. Please advise!
