Depends on if either requires a minimum 6 month lease or if they go month to month on payment plans. If it's temporary I'd choose the cheaper option.

Do you absolutely need the extra space of a house for the time being? Otherwise, go cheaper since it's short-term.

Why spend the extra money?

But why are you paying so much? There's plenty of decent $600-$800 apartments all over the QCA.
