Thanks. But I was actually agreeing with capitacityguy.

If the question was "Where is the best historic tourism destination in Iowa," I could see throwing a neighboring town in another state in there to enhance the historic tourism value of the Iowa town.

But that's not the question. If we want to try to select the most historic town in Iowa i think it has to be on the merit of a town in Iowa without regard to its proximity to other historic towns outside the state.

Which is not to say the Dubuque isn't at least close to the top of the list of historic towns in Iowa. But of course it's not as historic as Mount Sterling.

After all, did Dubuque ever try to outlaw lying?
